Launch Party for my New Novel

Back before covid, my favorite local bookstore, Book People, kindly provided a reading for my debut novel The Coal Tower. It was a wonderful afternoon, with friends and family and the occasional drop-in shopper taking seats at a table where I read and made jelly foldover sandwiches (mentioned in the book).

My new novel The Night Doctor of Richmond is ready now and Book People has again agreed to host not just a reading but a Launch Party for this one. They've moved to a new location near Short Pump, and the store is a beauty, one of those places where a book lover can just get lost in the neatly curated selections on the shelves. I'm humbled to have this opportunity.
